Well let's start from the basics. My name is Christopher A. Stafford. I am 23 and I am born and raised right here in Shreveport, Louisiana, or the "Cajun State". I live with my mother and step-father. My mother, Susan, is a Speech Pathologist, and my Step-Father, Mike, is a Computer Draftsman. My father and Step-Mother live in Pineville, Louisiana. My Father, Don, is a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy Reserves and also a Nurse Anesthetist, and my Step-Mother, Carol, is a teacher. I have two brothers, Eric and Jonathan,(eric does not live with me), and I have a sister, Lauren.
I am a student at Louisiana State University-Shreveport. I am studying for my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. After college, I plan to pursue my Master's degree, but am not certain what type of work I will be going into. I would not mind being a high school counselor, but what I am really passionate about is camps. I would love to be a counselor at some type of outdoor adventure camp, or youth camps. I am hoping to be graduating in the Spring of 2007.
Wow! I don't know where to start with this topic. I have so many
hobbies to choose from. One of my favorite hobbies, and past times, is to play
the drums, which is something that I am hoping to be able to do as a career. I
have been playing drums for almost 12 years.
I play Yamaha Stage Custom Advantage drums,
I chose Sapphire Blue as my color because the colors fade in and out.
My next favorite hobby would probably be lifting weights. For
most of my life, I was overweight, until one day, I decided that I was going to
try to lose some weight and start working out. Well, that day was almost three
years ago, and since then I have lost over 60 pounds and really gotten into
working out. I enjoy free weights and usually try to get to the gym about 4
times a week, time allowing. And recently, I have begun to get into body
building, which is quite an expensive sport.
One of my other favorite hobbies, but something that I don't get
to do that often, is spend time outdoors, and play in the mud. I enjoy taking my
vehicle off-reading, or "mud riding" as we southerner's like to call it. I love
spending time on four-wheeler getting dirty and just having a good ole time
outdoors in God's country.
Since one of my favorite hobbies is to be outdoors, then why not go somewhere where I can do that on a vacation. Breckenridge, Colorado is probably one of my favorite places to go on vacation, because it is in the beautiful mountains, and I love to ski also, so what better combination than that.
Another favorite vacation spot of mine was not really a vacation, but I went here to do some mission work with my church. And that destination is Kaibeto, Arizona, which is smack dab in the heart of the Navajo Nation. While we were here, we got to get a glimpse into the Indian culture, as well as take in some of the beauty of our surroundings.
